I love Halloween it's not as much fun as when I was a kid, but things do change.
When I was a little rug rat growing up we were so poor that when we went out trick or treating we brought our first batch home so my step mother could hand out candy to the kids that came to the door.
We would come home with tons of candy and in those days you actually got a normal size candy bar.My favorite was the Charleston Chew and the Look Bar, but when I got home my oldest would take all my candy bars and leave me with the stuff no kid wanted!! He did it to all of us so at least we all suffered together.
My brother was a coin collector even then and we manage to pilfer his nickel and dimes, back then coke was a nickel..He would get so mad at us, but paybacks!!
Even though my life as a child was horrific to go back and be a child again would be great!!

`my mom wouldnt buy me and my sister costumes. we had to make one of what we had in the house. one year i went as a baseball player. and my sister went as an overweight jogger with pillows in her pants and shirt. i really need to get that picture and post on FB... it is so funny!
be safe all~ enjoy the beautiful togetherness this day will bring of family and love. i will be with my family up north and i am so so happy and blessed.
