Anyone out there?
Born on the Gila River Rez, raised in Los Angeles. Fullblood Pima tribe. Interested in most all kinds of music ( raised on rock n` roll and motown ): rock, motown, alternative, blues, jazz, r&b, oldies, soul, classical, big band, some hip hop & country. A few favorites include Beatles, Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin,Stevie Ray Vaughn, U2, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Eric Clapton and Bonnie Raitt as well as the newer stuff by Gwen Stefani, Norah Jones, John Mayer and The White Stripes. Favorite movies include One Flew Over the Cuckoo`s Nest, Little Big Man, MASH, The Silence of the Lambs and Midnight Cowboy ( all very good books ), The Last Waltz, Hard Day`s Night, Animal House & Shrek for the music & fun of it...Groundhog Day to see the change come about of a cynical man. Art: sketching, painting, museums, galleries & festivals. Reads mostly newspapers from headlines to comics. Favorite columnists: Leonard Pitts, Al Martinez and Patt Morrison. Comics: The Far Side, The Boondocks, Doonesbury, Zits, Mutts, Frazz, Get Fuzzy, Pearls Before Swine...2 many! Also an animal lover who likes the outdoors: parks, mountains, beaches (what I miss most about LA), outside concerts, festivals and generaly seeing people enjoy themselves, especially kids, I think their enthusiasm is great. Have been told I have a great sense of humor. I'm 5' 91/2", 215 lbs and have long hair with grey streaks that I usually wear combed straight back in a ponytail.
