Seeking my best friend

I like all sorts of things just ask me and I will tell you,I am basically a lover of the ocean and other parts of nature,I love good books and I like good movies,and I love music of all kinds,preferably classic rock,not into rap.I love to dance,I am very laid back I am never in a hurry I don't have a whole lot of baggage it is all in the past and stays there. I am almost 50 and wanting to live again one more time around,my kids are all grown,I have 4 and 2 grandchildren that I adore,Family is important to me. Friends are people who come and go in life some leave a good impression some don't. I am looking for that friend who wants to spend time to get to know me and then decide if we should go a step further. I want that BEST FRIEND kind of feeling when I am around you, I want to know I can count on you and you can count on me to be there when we need a shoulder to lean on and share lots of fun times together and romantic times together.. I have been single for a long time now,so I am seeking my soul mate a partner for the rest of our years here on this planet. But I do not want to hurry into it I really and truly want a friend first. I am not a bad old gal either. I have a few extra pounds on me I am working on to get rid of, I try to stay fit but it can be hard sometimes, so bear with me for I do fluctuate with my weight at times,if this bother's you, DON'T BOTHER ME! I am painfully honest and I do appreciate the truth right back at me so no bull please! I want your out most honesty! I appreciate a person more when they are right up on things in today's world and want to enjoy a good day and not waste it. NO COUCH POTATO"S! even if it means to go in the yard and do a project or take a country ride or coastal. Or an indoor project. I do love the cuddle thing and all that but I also want to know the person I am cuddling next to is for real.
