Ready For Passion w/One

It seems we spend our whole lives in persuit of someone who will love us, respect us and stand strong and loyal by us. My question is why do we hold the bar so far out of reach we over look someone who could be truely wonderful for us? We all seem to make our choices based on external appearances, we look at the profile picture and say she or he is too fat, too thin, too plain, not pretty, we talk ourselves out of finding the one thing we want the most, to share our lives and our love with someone who will love us in return. Knowing we are not meant to be alone we get on these sites and then we forget to take the time to get to know someone. I want someone that I can speak freely with, to enjoy the simple pleasures of everyday life, to cuddle with when I go to bed at night, to share my space, my joys and my tears, he needn't be perfect, needn't be handsome, just a truely sweet person, honest, with integrity, warm and tender when time calls for it and strong and powerful when time calls for it as well. But most of all someone who will love me for who I am on the inside because lets face it, when we are old, wrinkled, not in the best of health due to old age its whats inside our hearts that will sustain love. As they say, beauty fades but ugly is forever. Inner beauty last a lifetime.
