Brilliant AND Sassy
From what I recall of my grandmother's stories about our geneology, somewhere in the family tree is a Cherokee. I've slowly developed a growing interest in the First Nations people. Y'all were here first and were treated, generally speaking, with an incredible lack of respect and honor (which I, personally, am sorry for). There's a wealth of culture and history that the rest of us would do well to learn and appreciate. For myself, I am curious and would like to expand my boundaries, however that works out (added bonus, some of you guys are just plain hot!). :-) Let me say this, for the record. Inasmuch as people label people, I fall under the "Christian" label. But it's not so much a matter of culture as it is that I have deep abiding faith in the Creator, the Redeemer, and the Spirit. It isn't about all the externals that seem to be so important. It's a heart issue. It's an issue of looking to the Creator, in gratitude toward the Redeemer, while walking with the Spirit. This is what I believe down in my bones. It's not my job to convert anyone, but I'll gladly share what I believe with all who ask. BTW: Photo #2 (once it's approved) is from a movie themed party at work. Everyone loved the fangs and creepy eyes! LOL!!
