Taisha & Laughing Hawk - Lost Tribe

Biography: Well, as you see we are a rock band, but we are single, mainly seeking friends and folks who want to listen to our music and be our friends. Our group members include: Rene Villanowith (Mexican-American - intermittent, now Chair of Anthro Dept at Humboldt State, married and family, the guy pointing in the Lost Tribe album cover. ); Mel Brewster (Paiute (Numu) - Metis - Lead guitar and vocals, Ph.D. anthro), and Geoffrey Hamilton (Eli-Naphtali Steiner), Hebrew/Scottish American. Keyboards, some guitar, harmonica, flute, M.A. degree Ethnomusicology and Ab.D. in Psychology... Doc Mel and Geoff are the heart of the Lost Tribe (LT). The Band is fluid, being that Doc Mel and Geoff maintain its heart, while some members are itermittent and sometimes ebb and flow. Some of OUR friends include: Rene (Renegade) Villanowith: Vocals, Rhythm Guitar Mel (Catfish) Brown (Numu/Manderin) rhythm guitar, bass, vocals, Hoss Frank (Numu) drums, vocals Keep in mind, we came here to share our music, yet Doc Mel and I are single and both heterosexual. Mel is taller then I at 6'3" in the Deer Jacket and myself Geoff the one with the hat and beard. However, if the right ladies came along who love rock musicians, we urge yaw to get to know us! Come on by and listen. : ) We are PROUD of OUR Heritage and do our best to follow the Red Road...
